Ashley Kiker, Practicum Student
I work with individuals struggling with adjustment issues, anxiety, depression, career decisions, self-esteem, and relationship issues. I work with children, adolescents, college students, adults and couples.
My goal is to provide a safe and empathetic environment for clients to begin the therapeutic process as well as helping clients identify strengths to pursue their goals.
I utilize well-researched therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also have Gottman Level 1 couple’s training. I have experience working as a mentor and with children in a variety of settings.
I have my Bachelor of Arts in Art with a minor in Psychology from Houston Baptist University. I am currently finishing up my Master of Arts in Counseling and pursuing my LPC licensure.
