Briana Johnson, Clinical Intern
I provide individual counseling to adolescents and adults. I specialize in helping my clients cope with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self improvement, and behavioral and emotional difficulties. My counseling approach is a combination of client-centered, solution-focused and goal oriented tailored to the individual’s specific needs.
I offer a welcoming and comfortable judgment-free environment that promotes one’s self-esteem, relationships, and outlook on life. I believe that providing a fresh perspective on an issue can give individuals a better understanding of their own emotions.
I am a practicum student currently working on my Counseling Psychology Masters Degree at the University of Houston – Victoria Katy campus. I am under the supervision of Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S.
I graduated in 2019 from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. During that time, I also received my certification in Early Childhood Intervention, Psychological First Aid, and Positive Psychology: Applications and Interventions.
