Eunice Brough, Practicum Student
I am currently a practicum student with LG Counseling. I am bilingual and can see clients in English and in Spanish. I focus on working with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and PTSD. I provide counseling to children, adolescents and adults in both individual and group settings. My goal is to help individuals change areas in their life where there is dissatisfaction. My therapeutic approach is to come alongside the client as they grow and learn more about themselves.
I use a combination of well-researched therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have experience working with women in crisis pregnancy and adults in a mental health facility. I also have training in couple’s counseling in Gottman Level 1 and relationship mediations. I have experience working as a mentor and a teacher.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas Pan American. I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counseling from Houston Baptist University pursuing my LPC Licensure. I am also a member of the Houston Licensed Professional Counselor Association.
