Meaghan West, Clinical Intern
I provide individual counseling to adolescents, teens and adults. I work with clients struggling with life adjustments and transitions, bullying, anxiety, depression, behavioral and emotional difficulties. As a proud ally of the LGBTQIA+ community, I specialize in helping clients struggling with gender identity, expression and gender dysphoria.
As an educator for over 8 years, I value the importance of strong therapeutic relationships. It is my goal to provide my clients with a safe judgment free space, to explore past and current struggles and challenges.
I do not believe there is a singular or standard approach to counseling. Based on your current needs and future goals, we will formulate an individualized treatment plan tailored specifically for you. As a team, we will then work toward the implementation of this plan, checking off the boxes as we go.
I am a Clinical Intern currently pursuing a double Master's Degree in Mental Clinical Health and School Counseling. I received my B.S in Psychology and Sociology from Sam Houston State University. I am under the supervision of Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S.
