Sandra Meza, Clinical Intern

I provide individual counseling to adolescents, teens and adults. I specialize in helping my clients with stress, self-compassion, self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety and depression. My counseling approach is a combination of Person-Centered, Solution-Focused, and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy.
I have worked with children as a caretaker and a Clinical Intern with adolescents and adults at an inpatient facility. Through these experiences, I understand the importance of providing my clients with a safe, nonjudgmental, and open space.
My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and encouraged to explore, process, and gain awareness of their strengths; while challenging their negative thinking patterns. Together as a team, we will utilize your strengths as a guide toward your healing and wholeness.
I am a Clinical Intern currently pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Houston Baptist University. I am under the supervision of Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S.
