Lauren Lappe

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor of over 15 years and a proud ally of the LGBTQ community, I have extensive experience working with individuals who struggle with mental health. My passion is helping teenagers and young adults navigate through depression, anxiety, mood disorders and life changes in a way that feels caring, compassionate and non-judgmental.
My goal as a therapist is to help you recognize your strengths, develop the skills to cope, and live your life to its fullest potential. I understand how challenging it can be to reach out and for many of us, difficult emotions, thoughts or behaviors create roadblocks in our lives. Together we will identify what keeps you feeling stuck in your life and create simple solutions so that you can live a life that feels authentic to you.
If your goal is to live a fulfilling life but you are unsure in how to implement the necessary skills, I would be honored to help. I offer a safe and nurturing space for you to explore all parts of you, so that healing and transformation can take place. I look forward to meeting with you soon!
I completed my undergraduate coursework in Psychology at the University of Texas and received my masters training in counseling and guidance from the University of Texas at El Paso.
