Dr. Lorrianne Morrow is the owner and clinical supervisor at LG Counseling and Houston Brain Center. She is a QEEG Diplomate and Board-Certified Neurotherapist (BCIA) who specializes in QEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback. Through neurofeedback, clients experience meaningful improvements in emotional regulation, focus, cognitive performance, and overall mental well-being. Many also find it to be an effective, evidence-based alternative to medication.
Dr. Morrow’s approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate, individualized care. She supports children, adolescents, and adults in building emotional balance, improving stress resilience, and enhancing brain function for academic, professional, and athletic success. Clients as young as five benefit from her comprehensive, neuroscience-informed methods.
For more than fifteen years, Dr. Morrow and her team have provided exceptional client care and delivered results that empower individuals to live healthier, more fulfilled lives. She uses innovative, research-driven techniques to help clients achieve lasting change.
Dr. Morrow is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Professional Counseling Supervisor, Board-Certified Neurotherapist, QEEG Licensed Diplomate, NASM-Certified Personal Trainer, Certified Brain Health Coach, and Certified Life Coach. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to address emotional, mental, physiological, and behavioral needs with a well-rounded, holistic perspective.
She specializes in treating anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and autism spectrum disorder. She also helps students strengthen focus and academic performance, while supporting professionals and athletes in reaching their peak mental and physical potential. Dr. Morrow’s work extends beyond clinical practice into research and education. She has authored and presented multiple peer-reviewed studies on the clinical value of EEG and neurofeedback. Her published works include:

• Identifying Neuroinflammation: The Diagnostic Potential of Spindling Excessive Beta in the EEG (2025) — This study explores how spindling excessive beta activity can serve as a non-invasive biomarker for neuroinflammation, especially following traumatic brain injury.
• Evidentiary Significance of Routine EEG in Refractory Cases: A Paradigm Shift in Psychiatry (2024) — This research highlights the diagnostic and treatment implications of EEG biomarkers in cases of psychiatric medication resistance, underscoring the role of neurophysiological assessment in precision-based mental health care.

Dr. Morrow has presented her findings at both the AAPB and ISNR conferences, continuing to advance awareness of the intersection between neuroscience and clinical psychology.
She earned her Ph.D. in Applied Psychophysiology from Saybrook University, her M.A. in Clinical Psychology (Summa Cum Laude) from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, and her B.A. in Psychology and Sociology (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas A&M University.
