Clinical Intern

Is your child struggling with big emotions, school stress, or changes at home that feel overwhelming? Many children and teens experience anxiety, frustration, or emotional outbursts when they do not yet have the tools to understand or regulate what they are feeling. When emotions feel too big, it can impact school performance, family relationships, and overall confidence.

I work with children, teens, and families to create a supportive space where young clients feel safe, heard, and understood. Therapy provides an opportunity for children to explore their emotions while learning practical coping skills that help them manage stress, improve emotional regulation, and build resilience. My goal is to help children develop the confidence and tools they need to navigate challenges both at home and at school.

My approach is rooted in evidence-based practices and emphasizes strong therapeutic relationships. When clients feel genuinely supported and understood, they are more open to exploring their experiences, strengthening self-awareness, and creating meaningful change. I work collaboratively with families to support growth, encourage healthy communication, and promote emotional balance.

I am particularly passionate about supporting children and adolescents who are experiencing stress, difficulty with emotional regulation, or challenges with self-esteem. Whether your child is navigating everyday pressures or a significant life transition, therapy can help them develop skills that support long-term emotional wellbeing.

I am currently completing my Master of Arts in Counseling at the University of Houston–Victoria. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Houston. I am completing my clinical training under the supervision of Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S.
