Megan Polatsidis, LPC Associate
I understand that taking the first step to seek counseling can be an exciting and difficult decision for many people. I seek to empower my client’s strengths to help them overcome their emotional and life difficulties. I provide individual counseling to adolescents, teens, and adults.
My therapeutic approach seeks to support my clients cope with anxiety, depression, adjustment disorder, and other emotional difficulties. I believe in taking a client centered approach to therapy in order to build a comfortable and judgement free therapeutic environment.
I work collaboratively with my clients to create an effective treatment plan based on my client’s needs and goals. I utilize a variety of counseling approaches such as solution focused, empowerment based, trauma informed, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I look forward to working with you to help you improve your overall functioning in life.
I received my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Mount Olive and my B.A. in Psychology from the American Military University. I am an LPC Associate under the Supervision of Lorrianne Morrow, LPC-S.
